HEY GUYS READ THIS CAREFULLY AND LETS MAKE A DECISION!!!!


Hi Gabriel and Michelle, and awesome Flingers (please post your team blog/website on my blog--I opened a space there so I can communicate with all of you). I scheduled a person (Laurent) who will be coming to our Thursday class to meet with your group. He and I have worked out some aspects for marketing Spring Fling that need immediate attention. He has a contact, an instructor who teaches art and graphics and we want to collaborate with her and her students. As an assignment her class will be creating a poster for spring fling. You folks will work with Laurent (the person coming TH to meet with your group) to discuss all of the details, set the amount we will award the artist (you will need to fund-raise that amount or we can draw it from the another team if their proposal to Student Senate comes through in our favor)--your group will choose the winning artwork, get copies, post it around campus, etc. I will also meet with your group about spring fling to-do's etc., but I thought this first endeavor will be fun, creative and give you folks opportunity to work with the community, college, and other students.What do you think? If you are not interested I know the other team working on Spring Fling would love to have this opportunity--so let me know right away after you run it by your team.Skye
